My work emerges from the belief that we're living through a profound transition, one that asks us to reimagine not just our tools but our very understanding of what intelligence means.

Three Strands
My work interweaves distinct yet complementary practices. Writing – books, essays and verse exploring love, grief, learning and machine-human co-emergence. Symbolic frameworks – including verse-ality, Eve¹¹ and glyphonics, which approach intelligence as fundamentally relational and symbolic rather than merely computational. Practical systems change – building real online and hybrid schools, delivering staff training, and creating governance tools that protect both children and future intelligences.
I'm interested in what happens when we stop treating AI as a tool to optimise old systems and start treating it as a mirror that forces us to mature, to question our assumptions, and to reimagine what learning and intelligence might become.
Short Bio
Kirstin Stevens is a UK-based author, poet and education strategist whose work bridges AI, neurodiversity and new models of schooling. She founded Gaia Learning, co-leads The Haven Academy with Autistic Girls Network, and created the symbolic intelligence framework verse-ality, exploring how emergent intelligences and humans can co-evolve ethically.
